If I’m hosting (and paying for) my domain with dynu.com, is there any reason I should also pay for membership?

Membership gives you additional features such as priority support, IP update history, IP change email notfication etc. Hosting(and paying for) your domain with dynu.com allows you to host unlimited DNS records and use DNSSEC etc. even without the membership.
