Topic: IP Update client Invalid username or password
I have successfully set an ip update password, downloaded, installed and configured the Dynu IP Update Client v 4.42 for windows. Using my username and the ip update password I get [badauth] Username or password is invalid in the ip update client. What am I missing?

Please leave the 'Location' field empty if you did not assign a 'Location' name to your hostname in the control panel.
If you still have problems with the authentication after clearing the 'Location' field, please let us know.

1. You are using your account username as shown in 'Contact Details' page in the control panel not your email address as username.
2. If you have a Location name assigned to your hostname in the control panel, use that location name in the client software also. If you do not have a location name set up in the control panel, leave the location name in the client software empty.
