Topic: Setting up Query
Hi,
I have bought a domain name (matt-ellis.xyz) and would like to link this to my router's ip address. I was wondering if this is possible with the free account?
If so how?
Any help would be hugely appreciated here as I have been trying to get this to work for the past couple of days and I feel like I am probably missing something incredibly obvious.
Many thanks,
Matt

Matt[/quote]Yes, you may use the free service. You will need to list the following Dynu name servers for your domain name:
NS1.DYNU.COM
NS2.DYNU.COM
NS3.DYNU.COM
NS4.DYNU.COM
NS5.DYNU.COM
NS6.DYNU.COM
You can then enter the external IP address of your router in the control panel.
If your router's IP is dynamic and you would like for the domain name to point to the most current IP address at all times, you can download and use one of our free IP update clients at https://www.dynu.com/en-US/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient
