I will like to configure my modem to work with the dynamic ip on GNUDIP service i have already configure thing like the host name, service port, domain name, user name and password, i have open already the ports on the port mapping configuration, what else do i need?

We regret to inform you that Dynu dynamic DNS service is not supported by HUAWEI HG8245 at this time. We offer free IP update client software on your computer to keep your hostname mapped to the IP address at https://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient.

In the meantime, we suggest that you take a few minutes to comment on your router manufacturer's forum requesting that Dynu be added to the dynamic DNS service provider list, which will make the IP update easier for you.

You can look for the 'dyndns-custom' option in the dropdown list and use the below setup:

Service Provider: dyndns-custom
Host Name: api.dynu.com
Server port: 8245 or 80
Domain Name: If you have a Dynu subdomain yourdomain.dynu.com, enter yourdomain.dynu.com. If you have your own domain name yourdomain.com, use yourdomain.com.
User name: your Dynu username
Password: your Dynu password, IP update password or MD5/SHA256 encrypted password
