I am interested in purchasing an SSL cert to secure a VPN appliance. In order for the certificate to be accepted by the server, I must generate the certificate signing request from the server and it must be used to generate the cert.

Is this possible if I purchase a Rapid SSL certificate for DV?

Thanks.[/quote]Yes. After you place an SSL order, you will be asked to provide a CSR ( Sertificate Signing Request) generated by your server. Your certificate will be generated shortly using the CSR.
