Could you guide to setup DDNS on Huawei HG8245 ?

Host Name?
Service Port?
Domain Name?

Please try the following settings:

Service Provider: gnudip
Host Name: gnudip.dynu.com
Service Port: 3495
Domain Name: yellowhouse.dynu.com
Username: YellowHouse304

Is there a password for YellowHouse304? And, can we replace the username and password with ours? Thank you.

Yes, you may change the username and password in the 'Change Credentials' section after logging into the control panel at https://www.dynu.com/ControlPanel/ChangeCredentials.

Don't use GNUDIP in HG8245 because it is buggy.

Select Sevice provider from the drop-down menu as "dyndns-custom"

host api.dynu.com
port 80 or 8245
domain name is yours
user name
Password is the md5 hash of you password.

it works for me

thanks am using dyndns-custom for my Huawei HG8245 .

host api.dynu.com
port 80

and its working


yes for sure GNUDIP in HG8245 is buggy.
