Topic: Wrong IP
Hi,
I'm running a raspberry pi and I've followed the instructions on how to update my IP from the pi (https://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient/RaspberryPi-Dynamic-DNS). however, this seems to result in the wrong IP being submitted.
The IPv4 is an address I don't know. The IPv6 seems to be the address of the pi itself and not the public IPv6 address. How can I make sure the right IPv4 address is transmitted, and how can I make the public IPv6 address submitted?
Any help would be most welcome
Best regards
Ivo

I don't know if you solved your problem but I had a similar one and what worked was changing the network (used my phone as hotspot) and returned to the main one. Execute the scrip after each change.
Second option if you are using a Debian based distro is using ddclient (https://www.dynu.com/DynamicDNS/IPUpdateClient/DDClient)
Hope that helps,
Eduardo
