how do i get access to everything on my laptop ? do i need to download ddclient for it also and do i need a different emial if that is the case?

If you are trying to access your computer from a remote location, you need to set up port forwarding for port 3389 in yout router and keep the domain name mapped to its most current IP address by either running ddclient in your system or our free IP update client For more information, please refer to https://www.dynu.com/Resources/Tutorials/DynamicDNS/RemoteDesktop
