Offers and Upgrades


FAQ What is the turnaround time for new server orders?

All new servers are generally set up within one business days after the order is placed and the payment is processed.

FAQ Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?

All servers are carried on a month to month contract unless otherwise specified in the client’s contract and agreed to by both the client and us. Server cancellations must be made prior to the next renewal date of invoicing.

FAQ Is there a server setup fee?

No, we do not charge any server setup fees unless you have special requirements regarding the network connections etc.

FAQ What if I want to upgrade my server plan?

Customers can upgrade to any server plan at any time with no additional setup fees.

Hardware


FAQ What brand of server hardware do you use?

We provide only the highest quality DELL server hardware. All servers are purchased new direct from the factory. We do not use after-market equipment.

FAQ If my hardware fails who is responsible for replacing it?

Hardware that is faulty or fails through no action of the client will be replaced at no charge.

FAQ Can I ship you my own hardware to use as a dedicated server?

We do not allow customers to ship in their own hardware for use as dedicated servers. However, we do allow customers to ship in preloaded drives or other storage devices that we will directly connect to your server for a brief period of time to allow data upload. We do allow customers to ship their own hardware for Colocation services. You can contact support for additional details.

FAQ What happens if I run out of space on my hard drives?

We offer many different hard drive upgrade options. You can add in backup drives, additional drives for just storage space or swap out your primary drives for larger capacity drives. You can simply open a sales ticket for upgrades.

Networking


FAQ How many IP addresses come with my dedicated server?

5 IP addresses are provided with each dedicated server. Additional IP addresses can be purchased upon request. Large amounts of IP addresses may need justification.

FAQ How much bandwidth is included with each server?

Each server has a set amount of bandwidth that can be used each month. Additional bandwidth is available for purchase through your order process, or you can contact sales for a customized quote.

FAQ What kind of connection does my server get?

Your server is set up with a standard dedicated 1 Gbps public/private switch port. You have the option to increase that to 10 Gbps for an additional monthly fee.

FAQ How can I work on my servers remotely?

You may perform system administration through SSH access on Linux servers or RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) for Microsoft servers. We also offer KVM to allow you to directly connect to your server in the event you cannot connect through standard protocols.

FAQ Do you manage my DNS?

Yes, we can manage DNS for your servers if your domain name is registered with us.

FAQ Do you offer private networks?

Yes, secondary network connections with private address ranges are available for additional cost.

Management and Support


FAQ How often do you monitor the Data Center and servers?

Our servers, network and Data Centers are monitored 24/7 365 by on-site and in-house employees.

FAQ What if I need support? Is support 24/7?

We offer support via a user-friendly support ticket system. If there is an issue on which you require our assistance, contact us via the ticketing system and we’ll be glad to help 24/7.

FAQ What is a reboot?

When we talk about reboot. We are referring to instances when we have to physically reboot your server. You are free to reboot your server remotely by yourself at any time, which is one of the many benefits to having your own dedicated server.

FAQ What is a System Restore?

A system restore is when we have to restore your server to the same state that it was in when you first ordered your server. This usually only happens when a system OS has irreparable damages.
