I would like to redirect http://mydomain.com to https://mydomain.com. Currently I cant set up web redirect because "source and target hostnames are the same". Is there another way to this?

Yes, its not possible to forward http://mydomain.com to https://mydomain.com.

You can forward http://mydomain.com to https://www.mydomain.com. But I agree, if someone tried http://www.mydomain.com, the same issue would happen again.

This seems like a tough one to solve.
